The team created a conversational chatbot which translates natural language into DSL queries. It allows Nutanix engineers to ask questions about a database in plain English. The chatbot breaks a question into tasks, and runs through a workflow that queries the database, returning the results in the users preferred format. By eliminating the need to manually piece together context from large, fragmented test logs and building on existing legacy tools, this solution makes log analysis faster, more accessible, and intuitive.
